Frequently Asked Questions
This page answers common questions and offers clarity as you explore whether this work may be right for you.
Clear communication, informed consent, and professionalism are central to the way this work is practiced.
What Is Tantra?
Tantra is a vast and ancient tradition with many lineages, schools, and interpretations. The word comes from the Sanskrit root tan, meaning “to weave,” “loom,” or “system.” It can be understood as both an expansive weaving and a system of study. Tantric philosophies and teachings appear within both Hindu and Buddhist traditions and have influenced many spiritual paths.
There is no single definition of Tantra, and what it looks like in practice varies widely. What follows is how I understand and work with Tantra through lived experience and years of practice. While I am not Buddhist, Hindu, or a scholar of traditional Tantra, this path holds deep meaning for me. My understanding has been shaped through decades of personal practice and professional work. For me, Tantra is an invitation to meet life with presence. It is a path of consciously learning, growing, and awakening. Through Tantric practice we become more connected to our bodies, our true nature, to spirit, and to the living world around us.
You may have heard the phrase, “no mud, no lotus.” For me, Tantra is about transforming whatever energy life offers into something nourishing. It’s about connection. When we align with the creative flow of life, we deepen our awareness, our intimacy, and our sense of unity with all that is. In my work, Tantra is not about performance or technique, but about presence, awareness, and authentic connection with the body.
What Can I Expect in a Tantric Session?
Each session follows a clear foundational structure while remaining responsive to what is present for you in the moment.
- Conversation and check-in
- Education and orientation
- Intention setting
- Bodywork and energy-based practices
- Integration and Completion
Every session is shaped by your intentions, needs, and nervous system. No two sessions are ever exactly alike.
You can expect to be deeply listened to, respected, and honored. We’ll establish clear boundaries and discuss any desires or concerns before beginning. Sessions are designed as a focused space for education, healing, and developing greater awareness of your body, heart, and deeper responses. You remain in full agency throughout the session, and we move only at a pace that feels appropriate for your body and nervous system.
What Does Not Happen in a Tantric Session?
Tantric sessions operate within a clear professional container.
Within that container, we do not engage in penetrative sex, oral sex, or deep kissing.
While sessions may explore sensation and expand your capacity for pleasure, clear boundaries are always respected. The focus of this work is healing, education, and energetic awareness, not sexual gratification.
This work is not centered on sensual massage or the pursuit of climax. While deep pleasure or spontaneous orgasmic release can occur, these experiences are natural byproducts of the work rather than goals. They arise through the body’s natural intelligence and unfolding, not through direction or performance.
This work requires maturity, self-responsibility, and respect for clear professional boundaries. Sessions are guided by consent, professionalism, and a clear therapeutic container.
Do I Need Prior Experience?
No prior experience with Tantra, yoga, or meditation is required. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, with clarity, care, and patience. Whether you’re brand new or have years of experience, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
Who is this Work Not For?
This work is not a good fit for those seeking sexual services, erotic massage, or experiences focused primarily on novelty or performance.
If you are looking for sexual entertainment or release without deeper personal engagement, this work will likely not meet your expectations.
It may also not be appropriate for those unwilling to engage in self-reflection, communication, and personal responsibility.
Tantra as I practice it asks for presence, curiosity, personal responsibility, and integrity.

What Should I Wear or Bring to a Session?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and move easily. You may be invited to change or adjust clothing during the session depending on the work we are doing, but we will always discuss this beforehand.
You do not need to bring anything special other than a water bottle. Everything needed for the session will be provided.
If there are any specific preparations that would support your session, I will include those details in your confirmation email.
What Is the Benefit for a Heterosexual Woman Working with a Woman?
This is a common and understandable question, especially for women new to Tantric work.
Many women carry pressure to perform, to be ready for sex, or to focus on another’s pleasure. Rarely do we receive space to explore our own sensation and desire—free from agenda or expectation.
Working with a female practitioner can create a different kind of space. The receptive, nurturing energy of the feminine allows for profound unwinding and self-discovery. Many women begin their Tantric journey with a woman before working with a male practitioner or partner.
I offer specific sessions for women that may include:
Yoni Clearing
This deeply honoring session involves gentle internal and external bodywork to release stored emotional, energetic, or physical tension. Like relaxing a tight muscle, this clearing prepares the body and psyche to receive more pleasure and presence.
Tantric Sacred Spot Massage
Distinct from G-spot or clitoral stimulation, this session invites awakening and expansion through sacred internal touch. It can open new pathways to bliss, pleasure, and ecstatic states.
Which session is right for you depends on your personal history and desires. Let’s connect to explore what would best serve you.
Am I Cheating on My Partner by Having a Tantric Session?
Only you and your partner can determine what aligns with your relationship agreements. I encourage honesty and openness whenever possible. Some clients choose to keep their work private, while others involve their partner openly.
If you choose to involve your partner, I’m happy to support that conversation and answer any questions you or they may have. Sessions are available for individuals and couples, depending on what best supports your situation.
Do You Work with Anyone Who Wants to Work with You?
No. I accept a limited number of clients and only work with those who show a sincere desire to grow, heal, and learn. Because this work is intimate and transformational, it’s important that we are a good fit.
To begin, complete the confidential intake form. After reviewing it, I’ll reach out to schedule a brief call. If we both feel aligned, we’ll proceed. If not, I’m happy to refer you to other trusted practitioners or resources.

In some cases I may discuss aspects of my work with trusted professional mentors or supervisors for purposes of learning and ethical guidance. When this occurs, identifying details, including your name, are not shared and your identity remains anonymous.
I respect the privacy of all clients and do not publicly discuss or disclose who I work with.
Where Do Sessions Take Place?
Sessions take place in a private and professional setting designed to support relaxation, safety, and focused personal work. Details about location, arrival instructions, and preparation will be provided after the intake process is complete.
How Long Are Sessions?
Session length varies depending on the type of work we are doing. Most first sessions range from three to four hours and subsequent sessions from two to three. Details will be discussed after your intake form is reviewed and we determine what format best supports your goals.
What Happens After I Submit the Intake Form?
